Larson shared the article with her 7 million Instagram followers. Wearing a black sports bra and leggings, she is extending to one side while using the other arm to lift the kettlebell straight up into a vertical position to complete the kettlebell windmill. If you’re not familiar with this move, it really strengthens the core and increases shoulder stability. MasterClass recommends starting with 2 to 3 sets of 3 to 6 reps per side, but emphasizes choosing the right weight, sets, and reps to practice good form.
Larson makes the movement look so seamless. The 32-year-old actress told Insider, “It’s been an incredible experience to realize that there is so much more inside of you than you know possible.” For the Captain Marvel role, she really ramped up her workouts. In fact, she couldn’t “puff up the hill,” and in addition to pushing her personal trainer’s jeep, she struggled to complete a 400-pound hip press and a 200-pound deadlift.
Larson shared some pretty pertinent advice, telling the outlet, “When people say ‘oh girls can’t do that’ it just makes me want to do it more. So great achievement this time, I just feel like I My body is getting used to it and getting excited. Now, it feels weird not to train. I’m looking forward to it.”
