The Warriors walked out of the locker room after the first half of Game 1 of the 2022 NBA Finals, made their usual third-quarter adjustments and blitzed the Boston Celtics 38-24 to lead by 12 in the final 12 minutes .
But there wasn’t any lead against this Celtics, and the Warriors found in stunning fashion as Boston went 40-16 in the fourth quarter to take the series first 120-105 at Chase Center game.
The Celtics went 15 of 22 in the fourth quarter, including 9 of 12 from 3-point range, while the Warriors went 7 of 17 in the fourth quarter.
At one point in the quarter, the Celtics went 17-0 with just over five minutes left.
The Warriors lost their first playoff game this season at the Chase Center, the first of their third playoff series loss in the Steve Kerr era.
