We won’t include screenshots here, but miasmadelta has linked to them in the Reddit post below. So, if you don’t want to be spoiled for anything else in this rumoured Fire Emblem game, Don’t click on the “character” link.

Rogers also commented on the screenshots on Twitter. Again, if you don’t like spoilers and want to be surprised by how this game looks, be careful as some of the replies to Rogers’ tweets include some screens.

source article [Tue 14th Jun, 2022 15:15 BST] Fire Emblem Fans are in for a treat right now. We’re less than two weeks away from the release of Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes, a peerless game set in the world of Fire Emblem: Three Houses. Sanya itself has had great success with smart systems on the Switch. Fire Emblem heroes continue to be extremely popular with fans.

However, for those who enjoy this strategy RPG series, there is more to do. Well-known Nintendo leaker and Nintendo World Report contributor Emily Rogers has revealed that Intelligent Systems has been working on a new Fire Emblem game for the Switch — a brand new game, not a remake or re-release.

Rogers, who shared details on this on Famiboards, said the game was a collaboration between intelligent systems, warrior Developers Koei Tecmo and Gust — a division of Koei Tecmo and studio series. Rogers also had some tidbits about potential new entries:

Here’s what I can share about the new Fire Emblem game.

– The upcoming Fire Emblem is a new game, not a remake. Brand new story.
– cooperation between Intelligent System, Koei Tecmo and gust (A division of Koei Tecmo Holdings).
– Gust greatly assists the visual/graphics. The graphics are an improvement on Three Houses.
– Originally intended as an anniversary game to celebrate FE’s 30th anniversary. The game has been finished for over a year.
– The main character (main lord) has weird red and blue hair. His mother is a dragon.
– New “Badge” gimmick allows players to summon “FE characters” from the past“For your team.

We could pick out some pretty interesting stuff here – the fact that Emblems will be used to summon fan-favorite Fire Emblem characters sounds pretty intriguing. Additionally, we think Gust’s lovely cel-shaded visual style would work perfectly in the Fire Emblem universe; check out Sophie Atelier 2: The Alchemist of Mysterious Dreams! Finally, the game is done — and it’s been done for a year.

The last one is especially interesting because if the game is ready and has been ready for over a year, when are we going to get it? We already have a new Fire Emblem game for Three Hopes this year – although it’s not a traditional strategy game – so will Nintendo release a second one in 2022? Fire Emblem: Divine Stone and Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance both launched in North America and Europe in 2005, which isn’t the first time, but Nintendo will likely stick with it until next year.

We’ll have to wait and see if this is true!
