Rudy of Rudy Gobert trade grows

With Quin Snyder stepping down last week and the coaching search in full swing, it looks like trade discussions with Rudy Gobert aren’t slowing down. According to Jack Fisher, there was a lot of trade chatter with the Utah Jazz and Atlanta Hawks.

From Fischer’s latest trade chat article:

There was a lot of talk in league personnel that the combination of Capela, John Collins, Kevin Huerter and the No. 16 pick could be sent to Utah for a three-time Defensive Player of the Year award.

Amid ongoing trade discussions in the league, Atlanta is believed to have made all of its players available except Trae Young, but sources told B/R the team is now expected to keep DeAndre Hunter and agreed Long term renewal terms.

We’ve seen different variations on this deal, but here’s some new information the Eagles want to keep for Hunter. Could this be some kind of trade tactic? We will find out.

We also got some new information to let everyone know what Utah wants with Rudy Gobert’s trade proposal.

We’ll see if the Jazz can do that. Gobert’s contract is huge, and when you consider how important the fit with Gobert is, it’s hard to make a deal on that alone. The Atlanta Hawks trade does fit those parameters, so we’ll see if that happens. This seems to be the biggest possibility so far.
