Jackson, Michigan — The Jackson County Animal Shelter at 3770 Spring Arbor Road has many pets available for adoption.
Here are two of them.
Fergus is a favorite at Sanctuary because of his heartwarming way of winning over those who meet him. He is a large black mixed-race male with white markings. Fergus is crate trained, loves other house-trained dogs, loves rides, and is a casual kisser. Quiet, calm, he likes to carry stuffed animals and play tug-of-war. Fergus has a little jogging and has his own swagger. This person has a personality and will become your best friend.
Adele is a 4-year-old calico doll who looks like a big cat. She is beautifully marked with bright white, orange and grey markings and lovely golden eyes. Adele is curious and playful and loves being petted. She is surrendered by her master, but when you pass her cage, she will stand up to find her new man.
