Amber Heard says she still loves Johnny Depp
Johnny Depp has accused Amber Heard and her legal team of “reimagining” the couple’s bitter legal battle in their first interview since the jury decided against her.
On Thursday afternoon, Peacock released part of an interview with NBC’s Savannah Guthrie — which airs in full on Dateline on Friday — in which Depp’s team echoed Heard’s remarks.
“Unfortunately, while Johnny wishes to move on with his life, the defendant and her team are back to repeating, reimagining and re-litigating what the court has decided and what the jury has clearly decided. In Johnny’s favor,” he said the team said.
Heard’s “cold” testimony was seen by the panel as “crocodile tears” after an anonymous juror came forward.
Furthermore, he told good morning america The jury found her emotional testimony “didn’t add up” and they considered her an “aggressor” in the couple’s doomed relationship.
Portions of Hurd’s interview aired on today Earlier this week, she said she would stand by her testimony “until my dying day” and paid the price for “speaking the truth to power”.
Hurd says Depp delivers on ‘global disgrace’ promise
Amber Heard has said Johnny Depp is delivering on his promise of “global humiliation”, adding that she is “not a good victim”.
NBC News’ Savannah Guthrie asked Ms Heard: “There’s a text message where Johnny promises you a complete global humiliation. Do you think that’s true?”
“I’m asking the jury to see me only as a human being and to take his word for himself, and that’s a promise to do so. It feels as if he has,” Ms Heard said.
