Sometimes it’s best to keep quiet.
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry were seen keeping silent with the young royals at the Queen’s jubilee celebrations on Thursday.
The couple, who are known to have stepped down from royal life in January 2020, have returned to the UK for their first joint public appearance since ruining the royal family in an infamous Oprah Winfrey interview 14 months ago.
Meghan, 40, was seen jokingly putting her finger to her lips inside Buckingham Palace, telling the Queen’s great-granddaughters Savannah Phillips, 11, Ella Phillips, 10, Mia Tindall, 8 Silent with 3-year-old Lena Tindall.
Harry, 37, was soon spotted making the exact same gesture.
Meanwhile, the couple were later photographed chatting with the Queen’s cousin, Prince Edward, Duke of Kent.
Markle went all out for her highly anticipated royal return, sporting an off-the-shoulder dress and striking sun hat with a giant bow.
However, the Los Angeles native was apparently not invited to watch the military flyover from the balcony of Buckingham Palace.

Instead, senior members of the royal family, including the Queen, Prince Charles, Prince William and Kate Middleton, greeted the adoring public from the balcony for a group photo.
It could be an awkward family reunion for Markle and Harry, who probably haven’t seen many family members since their big TV hype with Oprah.
During that sensational sit-in, the victimized couple made racist allegations against an unnamed member of the royal family, saying they were “worried” about how dark their son Archie’s skin would turn out to be.
Meanwhile, Markle claims she was silenced by staff at the home and claims sister-in-law Kate made her cry during an argument over her wedding dress before marrying Harry.
It is unclear whether the two women have had any connection since the bombshell interview.
Meanwhile, Harry’s relationship with his brother Prince William has soured since he left the UK to live in California, with the two now reportedly estranged.
However, the couple’s relationship with the Queen appears to be more amiable.
Markle and Harry returned to London to celebrate the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee exclusively – a four-day celebration marking the Queen’s 70th year on the throne.
The couple are also expected to celebrate their daughter Lilibet’s first birthday with the Queen on Saturday. The visit will mark the first time the monarch will be able to meet her great-granddaughter who bears her name.
