Jay Cutler reveals he ‘threw a party’ after reaching divorce settlement with Kristin Cavallari
Jay Cutler has revealed that he “threw a party” after reaching a divorce settlement with estranged wife Kristin Cavallari.
The 39-year-old former NFL quarterback admitted he celebrated in an uncut Wednesday episode of his podcast with Jay Cutler.
“When the settlement came, I threw a party,” said Jay, who played 12 seasons in the NFL, mostly with the Chicago Bears.

“I’m not advising anyone to get a divorce. I’m just going to go on and on, but, well, it worked. Kristin worked. It worked for me, so it’s what it is,” he added.
Christine and Jay, 35, married in June 2013 and announced their divorce in April 2020.
They have sons Camden, nine, Jackson, eight, and daughter Saylor, six.
Their divorce has not been finalized, a source told Us Weekly in an article on Wednesday.

Jay’s guest on the podcast is sports reporter and conservative radio talk-show host Clay Travis, 43, who jokes about the divorce settlement.
“I promise you’re the first quarterback to get divorced and make money in the NFL through divorce. Has anyone told you that before?” Clay quipped as Jay laughed.
“I don’t know what I can say, first of all. I don’t know if I’m making any money, I just don’t… We’re doing well,” Jay said with a laugh.

He added: “It’s real and funny, it’s what it is. It’s a happy ending. Kristen got what she wanted. I won the other side of it, so it’s what it is. Everyone wins .
Kristen revealed in an Instagram Q&A in April that she’s ready for a new relationship and is open to getting married again.
She wrote: “I still believe so much in marriage and I’ve grown tremendously over the past two years, so I’m going into a new relationship as another person, which really excites me.”
Jay has been linked with Southern glamour stars Madison LeCroy and Jana Kramer since the split, but is currently considered single.
Kristen has been out with comedian Jeff Day and singer Chase Rice, but has been focusing on self-improvement lately.
