The trailer takes us back to Salem, Massachusetts to introduce a new group of characters who finally bring back the Sanderson sisters who have been waiting for years. “Lock up your kids! Salem, we’re back!” the sisters announced at the end of the first prank 2 The trailer, which also teases the return of Billy Butcherson, and of course a black cat.
The film is billed as a “horrifying sequel to the 1993 Halloween classic”, Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker and Kathy Najimi All return as beloved Sanderson sisters.
“Twenty-nine years ago, black flame candles were lit to resurrect sisters who were executed for witchcraft in the 17th century, and they are looking for revenge. Now it takes three high school students to figure out how to stop a greedy witch from taking a chance on Halloween before midnight on Halloween. Salem wreaks new havoc.”
Anne Fletcher (Guilt trip) is directing the film, the cast also includes Doug Jones Billy Butcherson, a fan-favorite character from the 1993 original film.
join them Mount Whitney (“Gossip Girl”, “Molly’s Game”) as Becca, Lilia Buckingham (“Dirt”, “Crown Lake”) as Cassie, and Belissa Escobedo (“American Horror Story,” “The Baker and the Belle”) as Izzy, three young women who anger three witches in present-day Salem. Sam Richardson (werewolf in it) will also appear. “Arrested Development” Favorite Tony Hale and “Ted Russo” actress Hannah Wadingham There are also two landing roles Froy Gutierrez, Juju Brener, Tyler Page Henderson, and Nina’s Kitchen.
