Getting into the weightlifting portion of the gym can be daunting at times (not that it should be, but we’re getting there!), especially when you have to try and keep track of how much weight you might need for your workout.
There is nothing more annoying than needing a 5kg or 6kg dumbbell, for example, only to find out that all the dumbbells from 4kg to 8kg have been used.
This particular image sparked similar sentiments among many fitness enthusiasts after it was shared on Reddit, making this image particularly infuriating.
“All the weights…just for me!” wrote one disgruntled fitness enthusiast next to a photo of a man working out using a weight bench.

But instead of maybe having a set or two (definitely three at the most) on hand — which you’ll want if progressive overload is your goal — at least see half a dozen stacked under his bench.
The photo drew a lot of annoyed responses, with one person commenting:
“You should go up and politely ask him to stop being so stupid.”
“Uh… that’s too much,” said another.
“That’s one of the reasons home gyms are better,” reads another response.
A further quarter said: “The people in the gym are so inconsiderate.”

Meanwhile, another person spotted a second gym mistake in the image, sparking further outrage.
“And no towels. Disgusting!” they wrote.
In a real sign that you really never want to play a prank on someone, one person shared their plans for revenge.
“Sometimes pre-workouts get me gassed and I hold back my farts so I can fart in the right place at the right time…it will be a good time and place,” they wrote.
The solution is simple: don’t hog the weight! When we do, once you’re done, put them back where you got them.
