Dog thrown on street with bag of toys and owner’s heartbreaking letter

A dog shelter has revealed the tragic story behind a puppy abandoned on the street with a bag of toys.

The dog, named Baby Girl, was tied to a fire hydrant in Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA.

She was rescued by the Humane Society and the charity has explained how the baby girl’s former owner made the heartbreaking decision to abandon her.

The Humane Society got the puppy after reading the heartbreaking note left by the puppy explaining that her owner felt unable to take financial responsibility for caring for an animal with serious health problems because she had to pay for her own medical bills Check out.

They found out that she had diabetes, also known as canine diabetes, which means her body had problems controlling her blood sugar.

A spokesperson for Human Society said: “This can be an expensive disease requiring monthly purchases of insulin and possibly other medical supplies.

“In total, this can cost hundreds of dollars a month, depending on your own veterinarian’s assessment and the cost of supplies in your area.”

They explained the owner’s decision to give up the pet was an “act of desperation” and they thanked her for reaching out and trying to make her dog the best it can be.

In a message to the former boss, a spokeswoman said: “First of all, we are sorry you had to be separated from your best friend.

“It’s obvious how much you love her and we can see that you’re doing the best you can while battling your own medical complications and life challenges.

“We saw your love in the bag you carefully filled with all her favorite things.

“We saw your love because you fastened her belt so she wouldn’t get hit by a car.

“We see your love in the way you put her in the middle of a community that will soon be discovered.

“We saw your love in the happy and healthy looks of the baby girl.

“We saw your love in the notes you left pleading for someone to help her when you couldn’t.”

Thanks to owners for putting baby girl first, animal charities welcome anonymous surrender, no questions asked.

“We saw that you did what you thought was best for your beloved puppy, and we appreciate your compassion,” they added.

“Rest assured, she is safe and she has received a lot of attention from our team.

“We wish you all the best and hope that if you see this, you can rest easier because your baby girl has a bright future.”

The baby girl has found a new home just days after being taken in by an animal charity – and her previous owners are very happy about it.

The spokeswoman added: “The international response to this puppy’s story has been overwhelming, and the kindness towards her previous owner really fills our hearts.

“We have been in constant touch with the previous owner and we are delighted to have had the opportunity to connect with her and respect her wishes for the baby girl to find a new home.

“We pass on the supportive resources this generous community has provided her.

“She expressed her gratitude and happiness knowing that the baby girl will soon find her next loving home.”
