Dog and owner celebrate Queen’s Platinum Jubilee at Totton party

DOGS and their owners attended the Platinum Jubilee Party.

The Corgis, Collies and Chihuahuas kicked off the royal celebrations yesterday with their own crazy Platinum Jubilee street party toasting the Queen.

As they settled into tables and chairs outside Toton Health Pet Store, the celebratory dogs tucked in cake, puppy tea and a range of delicious training treats.

Lots of wagging tails on display, and a little barking, and guests enjoyed their treats and had a chance to play with some new friends.

Deborah Burrows from Healthy Pet Store brought tables, armchairs and Jubilee decorations to make it feel like a proper royal celebration.

The team also runs a charity drive, with all proceeds going to Cats Protection and the Dogs Trust.

All the dogs even went home with their own party bags, which contained lots of treats, treats and a KONG key ring.

Deborah said: “We were delighted to have so many owners and their dogs for our first dog tea party, everyone had a great time and the puppy cake and dog friendly tea was a hit.

“The Queen loves dogs and we’re sure she’ll love the idea of a dog celebrating with her over tea and cake.

“We thought a dog tea party would be a very appropriate way to celebrate.”
