Chewy customers are for life (and beyond), according to many testimonies from very grateful pet owners. Yes, it’s reasonable to notice what happened to Chewy, since almost everyone loves dogs. This includes forever movie villain Danny Trejo (who doesn’t trust anyone who doesn’t love dogs), and Better call Saul Knows how to provide good dog fan service, but boy, Chewy ran an extra 100 miles in memory of man’s best friend, and he went out of his way to save Ukrainian lives with his endless love and devotion to his owners while sniffing out explosive devices .
I’m not sure what we’ve done to deserve a dog, but I’m glad we have them. Chewy feels the same way, as a new viral tweet (Anna Brose from Alaska) suggests. Brose wrote about how she contacted the pet supply company to return the dog food after her beloved dog died and was asked to donate the food to the shelter.she also received Refund, flowers and autographed note from Chewy representative.
i contacted @Chewy Last week, to see if I could return an unopened bag of dog food after my dog dies. They 1) gave me a full refund, 2) asked me to donate food to the shelter, and 3) sent flowers today with a signed gift slip from the person I spoke to? ? 😭🥹

As Brose soon learned, Chewy did a lot of Good for their customers. Many clients tweeted about similar events when their pets died or for no reason at all. Flowers, notes, refunds for unused equipment, and donation advice. It’s all there, and there’s plenty of supply. Chewy loves pets and their owners, and their customers love them because of it. One shelter employee even came forward to attest that the donations directed by Chewy were real, which was very helpful for cats and dogs as they waited for their forever home.
Happy to report this is not an isolated story.I (and thousands of others) have had a similar experience @chewy, build very deep brand loyalty – proving that doing the right thing is also good for business. https://t.co/r4LaW4Hi7V

The same thing happened to me when I asked to cancel the special food that automatically shipped my recently departed Rodeo. They refunded me, asked me to donate food, and sent letters of condolences. Chewy is run by real humans. https://t.co/6Uwk0RSxPJ

I can attest, @Chewy is an amazing company. I ordered the wrong collar and they gave me a refund and didn’t even let me return the product. They asked me to donate it to a dog shelter. They are bad people.

I work in an animal shelter. It’s legal. We often have people reaching out to donate because Chewy tells them to reach out to a local shelter. I can’t express what this means for shelters like me. What a gift.

Yes. I bought 4 sling racks from Chewy to try out my new rescue dog. Only used one.when shocked @Chewy Tell me to donate the rest after I get my refund. Take them to a local rescue dog group and they will happily take them ❤️

It’s not hard for company leaders to have policies that are simple and human. Both for customers and workers. Many “bosses” and “CEOs” should be aware of this practice. https://t.co/pCxqSbwCti

Plus, Chewy apparently even pays close attention to quietly deleted pet profiles, reading between the lines, before sending handwritten condolences after the pet dies.
When my cat died, we continued @Chewy app and deleted her profile, without even talking to anyone at the company, we got a card filled with signatures and handwritten notes of many employees expressing their condolences 😭 This is awesome , and unspeakably generous https://t.co/gTOOudE6ti

That’s chewy. They do a great job of maintaining personal relationships. For Christmas 2020, they sent us a portrait of our (now deceased) lad, cherish it! @Chewy https://t.co/1WsYnGhg1I
