Here are the 10 happiest dog breeds, according to the American Kennel Club.
The Labrador Retriever is the most popular dog in the UK and the happiest dog. They are genetically predisposed to be happy, and food, walks, and pats all come with blissful joy.

Historically, Bichon Frises were used to being pampered by French royalty, so it might make sense that they are known for their cheerful dispositions. With big smiles and cute fluffy coats, they tend to make their human families happy too.
