Anna Faris Is Candid About Divorce
On Thursday, the 45-year-old actress spoke about her two failed marriages on Chelsea Handler’s “Dear Chelsea” podcast.
“I’m like a divorce veteran because I’ve been divorced twice,” she told Handler. “The first hit was great.”

She continued: “I became someone I didn’t know. I was always the kind of fridge full of people. I hosted a lot of dinner parties. That’s when I had friends.”

Faris was married to her “Lover’s Lane” co-star Indra from 2004 to 2008. Faris and Pratt starred in “Take Me Home Tonight” and were married from 2009 to 2018.
Pratt and Faris share a nine-year-old son, Jack.

The ‘Mom’ alum detailed her first divorce, saying she felt lonely because she had ‘no one to text or call’ and only kept ‘beer and mustard in the fridge’ because she been outside.
“I’m scared that I’m not a good lover,” she shared to Handler. “Especially when I was young, I was very conscious of my body. I didn’t want anyone to see it. But I would dance on the edge of it. I wanted desperately to be desired.”

As for the actress’s divorce from Platt, she’s been outspoken in the past as a culprit. In a March 2021 episode of the podcast “Anna Faris Unqualified,” she said the pair didn’t do a good job of “eliminating their competitiveness.”
“Any hint of competition and comparison, which I haven’t handled well, I don’t think — I wish I’d grown from that,” she admits.

Faris was hesitant to marry a third time, but her current husband changed everything for her.
“I think for the last year we’ve been reflecting, in a way, where we prioritize, where we’re anxious, where we like, whatever, evaluation,” she said on the July podcast.
