2022 Bowl Games: Schedule, College Football Playoff Teams, Dates, Bowl Times, NCAA Top 25 Rankings

tea College Football PlayoffAnd the Six New Year’s And the entire 2022-23 schedule was released on Sunday, and the series of announcements kicked off at the start of the sports post-season. The CFP was short on controversy as Georgia, Michigan and TCU each held their systems from last week CFP Ratings With Ohio State sliding onto the field after USC lost to Utah in the Pac-12 Championship Game. Although Alabama fans and coach Nick Saban put a lot of work into making a case for the Crimson Tide, the CFP selection committee stuck to its guidelines.

The CFP semifinal showdowns bring plenty of intrigue as Ohio State now enjoys new life after a loss to Michigan and can boast a roster just as talented as undefeated Georgia when the Blue Bloods clash in the Peach Bowl in Atlanta. The other semifinal, the Fiesta Bowl, will feature Michigan attempting its first-ever playoff win against TCU, the 14th program to appear in the event over its first nine repeats.

Outside of the playoffs, there is still a lot of excitement to be had as we look forward to the bowling season. Tulane plays its biggest bowl game since the 1939 season against USC in the Cotton Bowl. There’s an all-orange Orange Bowl on deck with Clemson and Tennessee. The Rose Bowl could be another instant classic with Utah going head-to-head against Penn State.

There are also great stories and fun matches throughout the bowl schedule that will demand your attention. Steve Sarkissian should have tuned Texas in and ready for a potential fight against Washington at the Alamo Bowl. Florida State coach Mike Norvell is also bowling for the first time since taking over coaching the Seminoles, and in the team’s game, they are placed against Oklahoma at the end of first year with Brent Venables.
